Hi people! Enterprize in Launceston is in the process of relocating to Macquarie House. To help avoid being underfoot and to give people notice of the new venue, we’ve decided to skip this month’s meeting.

Launceston May Meeting - An introduction to making games with Godot 3

Hi people. Apologies for the super late announcement! For this month’s Launceston meeting, Cheese will be talking about the Godot game engine and his recent experiences with making the upcoming management sim/base building game Hive Time with it. We’ll be looking at general engine usage, some patterns for input handlers, and workflows for getting 2D and 3D resources into the engine.

Launceston Meeting: 29th September - An introduction to QGIS

Hi people! For this month’s Launceston meeting, we will be taking a look at the F/OSS desktop Geographic Information System, QGIS, which supports viewing, editing and analysis of geospatial data. In this talk we will demonstrate how to connect to a variety of different data sources for displaying within a map, as well as adding in new data and editing existing data.
